Neighborhood Watch Members Guidlines
Get acquainted with your neighbors, know their names and be able to identify
them and their vehicles by sight.
Regulary attend Neighborhood Watch meetings. These meetings are held at City
Hall on the second Monday of each month at 6:30pm. They are for your benefit.
Make your home as burglary resistant as possible.
Use a video camera or your phone to make a record of your property, write down
any seriel numbers or other identifing marks.
Everyday
Be observant. Keep watch on neighbors' homes and report suspicious activities
to the Police Department when approprate.
Write down and report license numbers and discriptions of suspicious looking
people and vehicles in your neighborhood.
Educate your children in crime prevention and instill respect for law enforcement.
Do not try to make an arrest. Being a good witness is more important.
