Neighborhood Watch Members Guidlines |
Get acquainted with your neighbors, know their names and be able to identify them and their vehicles by sight. |
Regulary attend Neighborhood Watch meetings. These meetings are held at City Hall on the second Monday of each month at 6:30pm. They are for your benefit. |
Make your home as burglary resistant as possible. |
Use a video camera or your phone to make a record of your property, write down any seriel numbers or other identifing marks. |
Everyday |
Be observant. Keep watch on neighbors' homes and report suspicious activities to the Police Department when approprate. |
Write down and report license numbers and discriptions of suspicious looking people and vehicles in your neighborhood. |
Educate your children in crime prevention and instill respect for law enforcement. |
Do not try to make an arrest. Being a good witness is more important. |
